FlashMemoryMagic 1.3.15 is a program that can recover lost data in flash memory devices.
This program supports flash memory devices such as Memory Sticks, SD, MMC, CF, Mobile Phones and USB Flash Drives. FlashMemoryMagic can recover files even on formatted media. It´s also able to build a byte to byte image of a flash drive, as a backup to recover its content if something goes wrong.
Once the program is installed, you must load the USB drives available, by choosing File/Open Drive. Then, you will see the list of folders an the files in it.
By choosing the "Scan & Save Lost Data" function, the program will scan the selected drive for lost data. Once done, it will add two folders to the content of the drive: Deleted Files and Lost Files, the data found, and its state.
To recover a file, you´ll need to right click over its name, choose the "Save" option and choose where do you want FlashMemoryMagic to save it, if possible.
You can use this program to rename the files or change its attributes, but you won´t be able to open the files from it. |
